Tenuta Ara del Tufo covers over 15 hectares, in one of the most picturesque corners of Ciociaria, surrounded by oak and chestnut woods, in the hills of Giuliano di Roma, at the foot of Monte Siserno.

The estate’s motto is ‘everything from our land!’, a principle that gave rise to this place, where everything is a perfect combination of beautiful traditions, reliability and food safety. All this, in an unspoilt natural setting, far from chaos, where you can relax in a swimming pool surrounded by the green Ciociaria countryside and on the panoramic terrace, where you can interact with the animals and taste genuine products.

Our farm adopts cultivation and breeding practices that respect the natural cycle of the earth and animal welfare, reducing any agricultural waste, which is reused as compost or animal feed.
We only use organic fertilisers derived from our animals and do not allow the use of pesticides or chemical fertilisers. We believe in a conscious use of the water resources donated to us by the estate’s springs.
We promote the use of natural materials and minimise the use of plastic. We also promote the creation of natural habitats, hedges and flower meadows. The farm is registered with ANAS (National Association of Pig Breeders) and registered on the Ministry of Health’s integrated animal welfare system ‘Classyfarm’, which gives it an excellent rating.
