With its regional capital, Aosta, what makes the Aosta Valley unique is its rich history and culture, which dates back to Roman times and is still reflected today in its medieval castles, picturesque villages and well-preserved archaeological sites. Among the most impressive places to visit are the Fortress of Bard, which offers a panoramic view of the valley and hosts interesting cultural exhibitions, and the Castle of Fénis, a magnificent example of medieval architecture.

But the real attraction for nature lovers are the Alpine valleys criss-crossed by streams and dense coniferous forests, ideal for hiking, mountain biking and ski touring. In addition, the region is famous for its natural spas, such as those at Pré-Saint-Didier, where you can relax and regenerate in the thermal waters while enjoying the view of the surrounding mountains.

One cannot leave Valle d’Aosta without taking a culinary tour of its excellences, including the renowned Fontina AOC and polenta concia. Finally, the Aosta Valley offers a wide range of activities for the whole family, from relaxing walks along scenic trails to fun winter sports such as skiing and snowboarding on the well-prepared slopes of the renowned ski resorts of Courmayeur, Cervinia and La Thuile.
