Trentino is the ideal destination for those who love slow tourism, take time to explore a place and increase their feeling of wellbeing. The place for those who wish to rest in the fragrant naturalness of Swiss pine, savour the authentic flavours of ancient traditional dishes and discover mountain scents.
The PDO extra-virgin olive oil of Garda Trentino, the apples from Val di Non and Val di Sole, the organic vegetables which grow in Val di Gresta and tasty fruits of the forest are just some of the delicacies men were able to find in nature while respecting its balance.

From the Catinaccio group to the Sella and the Marmolada. Those who love outdoor activities will find numerous trails suitable for hikers of all levels, from peaceful walks in the woods to the most challenging climbs. For ski enthusiasts, the ski season opens in November: from the town, a practical cable car can take you to Ciampedie at 2000 metres of altitude, a panoramic point which offers an amazing view of the mountains and the Pala group. A place worth visiting is the Institute of Ladin Culture to learn about this ancient Rhaeto‑Romance culture and language, still alive in these areas.

Tenno

A well-preserved medieval village with stone inns and picturesque alleys overlooking the spectacular Lake Garda.

Read all

Tenno is a dreamlike place suspended between the lake with its Mediterranean climate and the surrounding mountains, a less crowded and particular destination for those who enjoy a mild climate and tranquillity. We recommend a picnic at Lake Tenno to admire its turquoise waters surrounded by the green of the woods and going on a food and wine tour to discover local delicacies such as carne salada. The town is involved in the Ecomuseo della Judicaria “Dalle Dolomiti al Garda”, which they contribute to taking care of vineyards and chestnut groves, terraced fields with the most northern olive groves in Europe, and the park of arts and crafts in the village of Canale di Tenno.

Riva del Garda

Sunbathing on the beach at the foot of the Dolomites: in Riva del Garda you can. This town is a real gem nestled between the rocky slopes of the Brenta Dolomites and the waters of the largest Italian lake.

A mild climate surrounded by the typical colours and scents of the Mediterranean vegetation. Many important travellers fell in love with this place in the past, from Kafka to the Mann brothers. Riva is the perfect destination for an active holiday in all seasons. The ideal place for those who love water sports, from rowing to windsurfing, and a real paradise for climbers, hikers and cyclists. We suggest hiking along the beautiful ancient Ponale road, one of the most beautiful walks in Europe, which from the town centre goes to Val di Ledro and offers breathtaking views of the lake. There is also an easy cycle and pedestrian path suitable for everyone which goes from Riva to Torbole following the valley. Close

Cavalese

Located at 1000 metres above sea level in front of the Lagorai chain of the Dolomites and in the heart of the splendid Val di Fiemme, the beautiful village of Cavalese is the ideal destination for skiers and hikers.

Read all
The Alpe Cermis ski lifts connect the town both with high panoramic points and the valley, which during the winter is crossed by the Marcialonga cross-country ski race and by the cycle path of the Dolomites in the summer. With more than 100 km of slopes, 3 equipped snow parks and two long luge tracks, Cavalese is the ideal place for winter sports lovers and families with children. We recommend visiting Parco della Pieve and the Palazzo Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme, the institution which for centuries has been responsible for forest management in the Valley. It is also worth visiting the “Forest of violins” in Paneveggio with naturally resonating fir trees and a population of deer, the waterfall and the barns of Vanoi where you can learn about ancient peasant traditions. Moena

Located at the entrance of Val di Fassa, Moena is one of the 11 towns which are part of the “Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme”, the institution for the safeguarding of natural beauty and resources of the area.

Read all

The earliest mention of this village dates back to 1164 in a document regarding the consecration of the Church of San Vigilio. Its spectacular nature plus the offer of exclusive services makes Moena a great holiday destination for families with children, but also for sportsmen and hikers who desire peace and tranquillity.

It is an extremely popular destination among outdoor sports enthusiasts who can practise here many sports from skiing to trekking, and families who want a holiday among nature. One of its most iconic places is Lake Andalo, an intermittent lake which is full of water in the summer but turns dry in the winter months, making it suitable for skiing. The town is the ideal starting point for excursions in the largest natural protected area of Trentino, the Nature Reserve of Adamello‑Brenta. Here you will have the opportunity to admire alpine landscapes of rare beauty such as the picturesque Lake Tovel and Lake Molveno, regarded as the most beautiful and cleanest lake in Italy. Close
