Trentino is a region rich in enchanting and mutable landscapes where people continuously strive to find the delicate balance between man and nature.
Spectacular places such as the Dolomites, a UNESCO World Heritage Site, the Forest of Violins in Val di Fiemme, Lake Garda and natural wonders such as canyons, the earth pyramids of Segonzano and the lunar landscape of Marocche di Dro.
Trentino is the ideal destination for those who love slow tourism, take time to explore a place and increase their feeling of wellbeing. The place for those who wish to rest in the fragrant naturalness of Swiss pine, savour the authentic flavours of ancient traditional dishes and discover mountain scents.
The PDO extra-virgin olive oil of Garda Trentino, the apples from Val di Non and Val di Sole, the organic vegetables which grow in Val di Gresta and tasty fruits of the forest are just some of the delicacies men were able to find in nature while respecting its balance.

Vigo di Fassa
A picturesque village at almost 1,400 metres above sea level. This ancient town which was the cradle of the Ladin culture is today the starting point for wonderful excursions to discover the Dolomites.
From the Catinaccio group to the Sella and the Marmolada. Those who love outdoor activities will find numerous trails suitable for hikers of all levels, from peaceful walks in the woods to the most challenging climbs. For ski enthusiasts, the ski season opens in November: from the town, a practical cable car can take you to Ciampedie at 2000 metres of altitude, a panoramic point which offers an amazing view of the mountains and the Pala group. A place worth visiting is the Institute of Ladin Culture to learn about this ancient Rhaeto‑Romance culture and language, still alive in these areas.
CloseTenno
A well-preserved medieval village with stone inns and picturesque alleys overlooking the spectacular Lake Garda.
Tenno is a dreamlike place suspended between the lake with its Mediterranean climate and the surrounding mountains, a less crowded and particular destination for those who enjoy a mild climate and tranquillity. We recommend a picnic at Lake Tenno to admire its turquoise waters surrounded by the green of the woods and going on a food and wine tour to discover local delicacies such as carne salada. The town is involved in the Ecomuseo della Judicaria “Dalle Dolomiti al Garda”, which they contribute to taking care of vineyards and chestnut groves, terraced fields with the most northern olive groves in Europe, and the park of arts and crafts in the village of Canale di Tenno.
CloseRiva del Garda
Sunbathing on the beach at the foot of the Dolomites: in Riva del Garda you can. This town is a real gem nestled between the rocky slopes of the Brenta Dolomites and the waters of the largest Italian lake.
Cavalese
Located at 1000 metres above sea level in front of the Lagorai chain of the Dolomites and in the heart of the splendid Val di Fiemme, the beautiful village of Cavalese is the ideal destination for skiers and hikers.
Moena
Located at the entrance of Val di Fassa, Moena is one of the 11 towns which are part of the “Magnifica Comunità di Fiemme”, the institution for the safeguarding of natural beauty and resources of the area.
The earliest mention of this village dates back to 1164 in a document regarding the consecration of the Church of San Vigilio. Its spectacular nature plus the offer of exclusive services makes Moena a great holiday destination for families with children, but also for sportsmen and hikers who desire peace and tranquillity.
CloseAndalo
Nestled on the Paganella plateau in the heart of Brenta Dolomites, Andalo is one of the most famous resorts in Trentino.
Canazei
A small jewel set between the Marmolada and the Sella Group massif, in the heart of the Dolomites, a Unesco heritage site. Canazei is the highest municipality in the Val di Fassa and is an outdoor sports paradise.
From summer trekking around Sassopiatto to the bike tours of the Giro dei 4 Passi; from ski mountaineering up the Pordoi Pass to snowshoeing in the snowy forests. Canazei is also Ladin culture with the Ladin de Fascia Museum and the food and wine tradition of ‘ciajoncie’ ravioli and the typical ‘fortaes’ cake, perhaps to be sampled in a mountain refuge at 1,800 metres. Finally, the well-deserved relaxation between the Dolaondes aquatic centre and the thermal water of the Aloch spring.
CloseFolgaria
One of the oldest towns in Trentino, Folgaria is the pearl of Alpe Ciambre, surrounded by alpine landscapes and enchanting views.
Here, the sun gives many hours of light, the long stretches of meadows and the suggestive watercourses invite you to enjoy the beauty of unspoilt nature.
Its geographical position makes it an ideal destination to experience both in winter, thanks to the more than 100 km of slopes for alpine and Nordic skiing, and in summer, where trekking and mountain bike excursions make it a true paradise for lovers of outdoor activities. Among these, not to be missed is the walk along the Malga Vallorsara, immersed in a unique natural setting, or along the Sentiero Cimbro dell’Immaginario (Cimbrian Path of the Imaginary), among woods and legends.
