Tenuta Massimago is an old farmhouse redeveloped with the utmost respect for its history and true soul. It enjoys a pleasant breeze during the summer, which accompanies the pleasure of a dip in the panoramic swimming pool or a walk in the hills along the nearby paths that pass through vineyards, woods, and touch lush wild blackberry bushes. In winter, on the other hand, it is the intimacy of the small spa that provides guests with increasing well-being. Wine tastings, excursions and picnics are organised at Massimago Wine Resort.

Sustainability at the table
We use seasonal raw materials and recipes, organic products, and breakfast boxes to avoid food waste.
Recycling and plastic free
In addition to our efforts to totally eliminate plastic, we recycle all the waste we produce in order to protect our biodiversity-rich small forest.
Conscious use of resources
We use photovoltaic panels, use water from the well and provide water fountains for our guests.
Organic viticulture
Environmentally friendly, with integrated pesticide control and manual cutting of the grass along the rows. We also use a new technique to dry the grapes naturally, in a Japanese fruit loft that uses natural ventilation instead of machines.
Green manure
We pay attention to preserving and renewing the environment: the technique of green manure increases soil fertility.
Natural aeration
Respecting the historicity of the estate and due to the pleasant natural ventilation it enjoys, we preferred not to install air conditioning.

The Massimago Wine Resort restaurant is a meeting point between the culinary tradition of Valpolicella and the genuineness of the raw materials produced on the farm or locally sourced. Always fresh, seasonal and even organic. The wine, the true protagonist of the estate, becomes an integral part not only of the glasses accompanying the dishes, but of the recipes themselves. By reservation only, you can dine in the ancient silence of the old barrel cellar, in front of the lit fireplace in winter and under the pergola in fine weather, every day except Mondays and Tuesdays. Always including breakfast, which, in order to avoid waste, is served in box form. |
