5 hectares of private woodland, olive groves, gardens, with a splendid panorama over the Elsa Valley
A restored country house with local materials and modern comforts
Stone infinity pool with spectacular panoramic view and solarium
An enchanting panoramic position, with an enchanting view of San Gimignano and the Val d’Elsa hills, provide the backdrop for an eco-friendly holiday at the Ripostena Country House in Casole d’Elsa. The eight exclusive country-style flats are part of the ancient rural hamlet, restored with the utmost respect for the environment and tradition, using local materials and employing local craftsmen.
The Ripostena Country House is surrounded by 5 hectares of private forest, rows of olive trees and garden. In this unparalleled natural setting is the panoramic infinity pool, where guests can relax swimming in silence. Here guests will find "the familiarity of an eco-sustainable agriturismo and the style of an eco-resort", for responsible and slow holidays that allow them to get in touch with the small realities of the area and approach nature slowly with explorations on horseback, by bicycle or on foot.
Ripostena was an old rural hamlet, which we recovered from a project of my father’s, always with the utmost respect for the land. An artificial pond allows us to collect the rainwater with which we irrigate the green areas; the use of photovoltaic panels, ecological detergents, water flow reducers, and separate waste collection are small ecological gestures that guarantee a limited impact on the environment. We love to guide our guests in a conscious and authentic approach with the territory, suggesting activities that favour slow tourism and encounters with small local businesses.
